How long does the COVID-19 vaccine last?

Till now, there are more than 95 million person in the United States of America who have taken the coronavirus vaccine. Other countries are also achieving high percentages of people who have taken at least of dose of the vaccine.

Upon this, there’s a crucial question that comes to our minds.

For how long will the COVID-19 vaccine last?

According to health experts, the answer is not yet very clear. This is because vaccines were given an emergency use authorization and experts didn’t have enough time to examine and test their long term effectiveness.

However, researches around this issue are still
ongoing thus leading to an educated guess and answer from the experts to this question.

According to the Federal Health authorities, there isn’t yet a definitive answer on the extract period the vaccine might last for.

On the other hand, experts states that based on many clinical trials , vaccine-induced protection can last for at least three months. This doesn’t mean that the immunity of the person will completely expire after this period but the initial trials on Moderns, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson have shown this time frame only.

In conclusion, researches are still in progress and this shelf life is expected to increase because in the real world, the protection should last longer. Experts declares that the exact time length still needs to be observed with further studies.
